Ski trips with accommodation in Oslomarka

Combine your ski trip with a visit to one of our Marka cabins. Pack your backpack with warm clothes, good food and drink, strap on your skis, go to one of the forest cabins and spend the night in the forest. In this article, you will get tips for cabins where there are groomed ski trails all the way to the cabin.

Kobberhaughytta in Nordmarka with dining and accommodation

Starting point: Frognerseteren, Tryvann or Hammeren
Distance: Approx. 9 km

Nordmarka storstue is beautifully situated by the ski slope and offers hot drinks, fresh pastries and magical views. It is also possible to spend the night here, in the brand new bedroom building and experience the beautiful Nordmarka. 

Bøvelstad in Østmarka

Starting point: Streifinn or Kirkebygda
Distance: About 9 km from Strefinn and 11 km from Kirkebygda

Bøvelstad is an old homestead located in beautiful connection to Børtervann, which is one of the largest lakes in Østmarka! 

Fjellvang in Lillomarka

Starting point: Mobekken or Kjelstås 
Distance: About 4 km from Mobekken and 9 km from Kjelsås

Fjellvang is an easily accessible and homely cabin located in close proximity to Sinober Sportsstue and the DNT cabins Nydalshytta, Nydalsbua and Røverhula in Lillomarka. The cabin has electricity and is a great starting point for gatherings of various kinds.

The Råbjørnhytta cabin in Romeriksåsene

Starting point: Sjonken 
Distance: About 8 km from Sjonken

This gem of a cabin is located right by the lake Råbjørn in the heart of Romeriksåsene. From the cabin there are several ski trails and the area is known for long and snowy winters. 

Halvorsenhytta in Vestmarka

Starting point: Sem 
Distance: About 4 km from Sem

Halvorsenhytta is nicely located with a view of Skaugumåsen and the Oslo Fjord. The cabin was built in 1899, and is named after the first owner, composer Johan Halvorsen. For larger groups, the cabin has its own large room for nice parties.

Jørgenhytta at Krokskogen

Starting point: Sollihøgda or Kleivstua 
Distance: About 8 km from Sollihøgda and 4 km from Kleivstua

Jørgenhytta is a nice log cabin located in the middle of Krokskogen. The cabin is nicely located close to the popular ski lodge Sørsetra, so here you can enjoy coffee and pastries before entering the cabin. 

The blackwater cabins in Vestmarka

Starting point: Vestmarksetra
Distance: 7 km from Vestmarksetra

At Svartvann in Vestmarka there are three beautiful housing units. The historic cabin Svartvannshytta, the charming Svartvannskoia and a separate annex for those with dogs: Svartpoten.

Myrsetra at Krokskogen

Starting point: City in Lommedalen
Distance: Approx. 9 km 
Sleeps: 10

If you are looking for a cozy forest cabin in historic Krokskogen, Mysetra is the right place to choose. This is an authentic cabin that is beautifully located in the forest with beautiful scenery in all directions and fantastic sun conditions.

Skjennungsvolden in Nordmarka

Starting point: Frognerseteren. 
Distance: Approx. 5 km

Skjennungsvolden is idyllically located in Nordmarka with a beautiful view of Skjennungen. The cabin is easily accessible from Frongerseteren Metro station. 

Vikkelihytta in Romeriksåsene

Starting point: Gravel roof parking lot 
Distance: Approx. 4 km

Vikkelihytta, in the snowy Romeriksåsene is this beautiful cabin in close proximity to Marikollen, which provides a great view of Eastern Norway and further up towards Gudbrandsdalen. In the same area is the DNT cabin Vikkelistallen.

Røyrivannskoia in Østmarka

Starting point: Bysetermåsan
Distance: About 8 km

Røyrivannskoia is a charming old log cabin located by Røyrivann in Østmarka. The cabin has a historical touch as the old cream trail in Losybdalen went over Røyrivann, and the cabin was used to house the lumberjacks. 

Sandbekkhytta in Nordmarka

Starting point: Svartbekken, Tverrsjøstallen or a long trip from Sørkedalen
Distance: Approx. 6 km
Beds: 4

Sandbekkhytta is an old forest hut for forest workers. DNT took over the cabin in 2022 and is beautifully located between the cabins Katnosdammen and Sinnerdammen

Bekkestua in Romeriksåsene

Starting point: Åsgreina
Distance: About 2 km
Beds: 4

Bekkestua is easily accessible from the parking lot Grøsåkervangen. The cabin is a small, intimate log cabin, and can be recommended for families, alone or for couples.  

Katnosdammen in Nordmarka

Starting point: Svartbekken, Hammeren, Frognerseteren and Tryvann 
Distance: 14 km from Svartbekken, 26 km from Hammeren and 22 km from Frognerseteren

Katnosdammen is a former dam keeper's residence with a fantastic location by Lake Katnosa. The cabin is located right next to the Katnosa-Spålen nature reserve, which offers unique nature experiences. 

Snellingen in Romeriksåsene

Starting point: Bruvoll 
Distance: About 2.5 km from Bruvoll and 7 km from Råsjøkrysset

Snellingen is beautifully located in the north of Romeriksåsene and is an excellent starting point for walking the Romeriksåsene lengthwise. The cabin has a historical touch and is an old farm house with a history dating back to the 1800s.

Sinnerdammen at Krokskogen

Starting point: Ringkollen and Tverrsjøstallen 
Distance: About 9 km from Ringkollen and 5 km from Tverrsjøstallen

Sinnerdammen is a beautiful old hunting cabin in the middle of Krokskogen, dating back to 1898. This is a cabin with a completely unique atmosphere, beautiful location at Spålen-Katnoas nature reserve and historical interior from the year the cabin was built.

Småvannsbu in Kjekstadmarka

Starting point: Dikemark or Blåfjellhytta
Distance: About 2 km from Dikemark and 3 km from Blåfjellhytta

Småvannsbu is a family-friendly and beautiful cabin located on a hill in Kjekstadmarka. The terrain around Småvannsbu alternates between open, fine pine forest and exciting gorges and the area invites to exciting experiences, not least for children.

Spikertjernhytta in Romeriksåsene

Starting point: Kokstadvangen
Distance: 2 km
Beds: 4

Spikertjernhytta is located at Spikertjern and is a history as a log cabin. The cabin is perfect for families with children as it is only 2 km to the cabin.
