Sandalsnuten is located at 1554 meters above sea level in Hallingskarvet National Park. This is a great hike with several alternative routes. To get up, follow the marked trail towards Klemsbu/Geiteryggen, and turn right up towards Sandalsnuten before the summer bridge. The trail is not marked from here. The cabin is locked, but it is nice to sit in the sun outside. When you reach Klemsbu, it's worth hiking up to Sankt Pål (1695 meters above sea level) if the weather is good. Beautiful views in all directions. There is a summer bridge on the way to Klemsbu. This is laid out at the beginning of the summer season and removed before Finsehytta closes in the autumn.
